Cam and Lily

So Lily woke Cam up from a nap yesterday, and as punishment, I put Lily in the crib! I think the both loved it!

Birthday Boy!!

Today is Cam's big first birthday, and he is having a great one! Yesterday was his party on the beach, and everyone had a blast. On Saturday we went to the Long Beach Aquarium with the grandparents, which was great. Here are a few pictures....

Oh, Friday Cameran had a little surgery to put tubes into his ears. It was a quick and easy procedure, and Cam did just fine. He was a little groggy for the rest of the day, but was ready to party by Saturday morning. Let's hope this puts an end to all those ear infections. The Dr. said there was a bunch of gunk in his ears, and we can already tell his hearing has improved.

Getting ready for big #1!!

I can't believe that Cam will be one year old in less than a week! The past year has been a blur for all of us (as with all parents), but it's definitely the best year yet. Cam is looking forward to a visit from the Stewart grandparents this weekend and a trip to the Long Beach aquarium. His latest hobby is to walk his push-toy around the block with shoes on (he doesn't know what to think about shoes...he's been barefoot for almost a year!).

He's not slowing down!

Today is Cam's first day at his new daycare...we are really excited about it. Now he has 3 good buddies to play with (as opposed to 30). As soon as I dropped him off, he didn't miss a beat, crawling everywhere exploring all the new toys. I'm not sure he'll even miss me!

We had a great and busy 4th of July weekend. Cam and I won the HB stroller run (see picture below), and we had a great time hanging out with friends. He has started to stand on his own for a few seconds. Grandaddy Stewart actually got to see Cam's best "stand" last night via video chat. It's only a matter of time before we've got a walking monster.

This afternoon Cam goes to the ENT specialist about his ears. Hopefully we can get some tubes put in and put all these ear infections behind us.
