Merry Christmas!!

We just got back from Wisconsin today, we had a great time. Cam did great on the flights (even though he projectile puked all over me on the way back, I mean ALL OVER ME when I was holding him above my head). We had a blast with Dianna's family...ate great food and played in the snow. It was great to hang out with the Janz's. Here are a few pictures...

Cameran is finally getting over his cold. He developed the worst cough this week, which got us nervous, but the doctor said he was just kicking the virus. We've taken some funny photos lately...

Cameran has a cold :(

Well, we had a pretty rough last night night, Cam just didn't want to sleep. He would fall asleep in our arms but would wake up calling for us as soon as we put him in the crib. Turns out he had a pretty high fever :(. So, we took him to urgent care this morning, and it looks like Cam has his first cold. Let's hope he feels better tomorrow!

updates

Well, we haven't posted in a while, things have been so busy. Between work, Cam, and life, there's just not enough time in the day! It turns out we're going to Wisconsin for Christmas, Cam gets another plane ride! I wonder what he'll think of the snow...I can't remember the last time I saw some. Here are a few pictures from Thanksgiving...

Oh, Cameran had his 4 month checkup last Friday and clocked in at 16 lbs. 13 oz. and 26 3/4" !!!

Cameran's First Flight

Cameran has earned his wings. The flights were long and the planes were crowded but Cameran did awesome. The way to the east coast was a breeze and Cameran slept most of the way. On the way back he didn't get much sleep and made Mom and Dad work! He had a great time seeing the great-grandparents and hanging out with grandma and grandpa. Oh, and Cameran loved sleeping in his cage, ha ha! The weather was a little chilly, which kept us inside, but it was nice to relax and catch up in a little rest. We'll have more pictures from the trip soon.

Leaving tomorrow morning!

Well, we're leaving tomorrow morning at 6:30 AM on a plane to North Carolina. We're so tired from cleaning and packing over the past few days, I'm really looking forward to a little vacation. Cam has been in a good mood for the past few days, let's hope he wakes up in a good one tomorrow! Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!

Dianna has to work today, so it's me and Cam on this chilly Sunday. He woke up in a great mood, which is the best (I went surfing early this morning when everyone was sleeping, but of course Cam woke up 15 minutes after I left, ha ha. It was ok b/c he just smiled in his crib while Dianna got ready for work).

We're all getting ready for our inaugural trip back east as a family this week. We can't wait to see everyone, and let's all hope Cam likes airplanes!! Instead of packing, I think Cam and I are going to hang out today, maybe go to Best Buy, who knows...

A Picture Tells A Thousand Words

What do these pictures tell you?

It tells me that Cameran had his first true experience with semi solid foods-rice cereal. Our little guy has been so hungry that he has been sucking down 8 or 9 ounces each feeding and wanting more. We took matters into our own hands. Ha ha! It was great and Cameran thoroughly enjoyed it.

Our Little Thumb Sucker

Cameran has been trying very diligently for the last couple of weeks to get his thumb in his mouth. Well, finally all of his hard work paid off. He has found his thumb and by the looks of it he will not be losing it any time soon. I know when he is awake now by the loud, slobbering, sucking sound coming from his room.

well, Cam slept for 12 straight hours last night (8pm to 8 am)!! He has started grabbing his toys and swinging them around, and smiling more everyday. Oh, and here's another funny video...

Update on late night rendezvous

Well, Cameran has decided he likes to sleep all night.  He woke around 2am and made a little whimper and went right back to sleep.  He woke up around 5:30 this morning ready to eat and play.  After Bill gave him a bottle he put him in his crib, he played with his hands and mobile for a few minutes and then he fell right back to sleep.  He's such a good boy!

Is It the End to Our Late Night Rendezvous???

Sooo,Cameran has been sleeping excellent since he was born (I say this 3 1/2 months later). The first couple of weeks he would sleep for 3 hours at a time throughout the night. That doesn't sound like a lot but it felt like a lot at the time. From about 1 1/2 months until now he has slept the first leg of the night for about 5-6 hours, eat, and go right back to sleep.

Last night we put Cameran to sleep around 7:45 after a nice long bath, baby massage, and of course I rocked him to sleep as we looked into each others eyes, ha ha, I'm a corny mom. Anyway, we woke this morning to just a little wimpering from Cameran's room to let us know he was up. I rolled over to see that it 5:15. OMG! He slept for a little over 9 hours. I fed him and put him back to sleep. Bill and I were shocked. Bill looked at me and said "he is growing up so fast."

We'll see if this lasts but Bill will say I just jinxed us. I am going to miss our late night rendezvous...

This morning Cameran completely rolled over, it was hilarious.  He was on his back, he rolled all the way to his stomach, struggled for a while, and then rolled to his back!  He had this funny look of accomplishment afterwards, too.  He's gonna be mobile before we know it!

Milestone

Cameran rolled completely over yesterday for the first time. Unfortunately, we were not there to witness it but his teacher at daycare was very impressed.  I knew it would happen soon since he has been rolling from side to side for 2 weeks. 
Apparently he tries to keep up with the 4 month old Makenzie at daycare .  They love to talk to each other on their play mat and look at each other.  I bet it is funny looking at another bald, chubby, drooling baby that looks kind of like you:)

Well, we're already spoiling him!  We bought Cam a new toy on Sunday and he completely loves it!

relaxing weekend

Right now Cam and Dianna are taking a nap on this peaceful Saturday.  Waves are flat, so I'm just hanging out getting some rest, too.  We had some friends over for dinner last night and Cam completely hammed it up.  We've never seen him show off so much for a crowd, just smiling, giggling, batting eyes at the girls...we're in trouble.

We went for a long walk down to Main Street this morning, walked on the pier, super nice morning. Cam decided he wanted to be carried all the way back, which was fine (we love holding him), but I can already feel my biceps getting sore! ha ha! I figure we should enjoy carrying him while we still can.

Here is a picture taken about a month ago at my birthday dinner (pre-haircut).  We were at this authentic Japanese restaurant, sitting on the floor, Cam was on my side.  I felt like such a pro drinking a beer in one hand while feeding Cam with the other (Dianna was driving).  About 5 minutes after this was taken, Cam projectile vomited 2 feet in the air, all over the table and floor cushions.  We got out of there so fast!

oh yeah, this is what Mr. Cam has been doing lately...

Since it's almost Halloween....

Here's a picture of Cam in his costume from last week (he's a lobster). This didn't last long, it was a little tight and he started freaking out.  Lesson learned ha ha!

and today was the first day he watched me leave and looked really sad :(.

Well, this is our first blog, I hope everyone enjoys hearing about Cameran and the Stewart clan!

Cam gets bigger everyday! When I picked him up from his 3 hr stint at daycare today, he was completely passed out in his crib, with arms and legs spread straight out. Mr. Cam is extremely excited for the weekend, to have 2 full days with Mom!
